🐸Sharing a little throwback Thursday, featuring an interview with 2026 chalk artist, Craig Rogers!

Craig and Jamie are an art teacher duo from Richland Center, Wisconsin, who have been collaborating since high school. Graduates of UW-Oshkosh, they began focusing on street painting in 2010 by celebrating their wedding at their first chalk festival. Since then, they have been featured artists at numerous events, led workshops, painted murals, and taught thousands of students in the public school system. Their current inspiration stems from human interaction with nature and their two children.

We loved having them at the Festival and are already thinking about what the Chalk Art Oasis could look like next year, April 17 & 18, 2026.

🌿As we celebrate "World Environmental Day", it seems only right that we thank Sustainable Tallahassee for partnering with us to keep the 2026 Chain of Parks Art Festival eco-friendly as we celebrate a decade of sustainability!

💚Through our long-standing partnership, this year's Festival continued to build on its “Going Green” initiative. Over the weekend, Sustainable Tallahassee helped select the “Recycled Content Award” for a piece of Festival artwork made of recycled materials, hosted an information booth on sustainable living, worked with Rags2Bags to provide free reusable tote bags in the Community Corner, and featured an Electric Car display on Tunnicliff Lane.

♻Additionally, through Sustainable Tallahassee’s underwriting, Compost Community helped reduce waste in our VIP and Behind-the-Scenes areas! We appreciate their continued collaboration as we work toward a more sustainable Festival each year.

📊 A thank you to Harvard & Associates, PA, who served as the sponsor of Williams Lane for the 2026 Festival. Harvard & Associates handles accounting work for , and we were glad to have their continued support this year. Their efforts ensure that the business side of the arts stays organized!

🎨 What is a Lane Sponsor? We named our primary walking lanes after artists in the Permanent Collection, including the late Hiram Williams. A WWII veteran and distinguished UF professor, Williams focused on capturing the human condition. His legacy lives on in major museums and the Florida Artists Hall of Fame—and was recognized at the festival along his namesake lane.

🏗️We are so grateful to WestScott Construction, who served as the Festival's 2026 Hockett Lane Sponsor this year! WestScott is a phenomenal year-round partner to , and their support for the 2026 Festival meant a lot to the team.

Beyond their financial sponsorship, their team stepped up in huge ways logistically:
🛺 Provided a golf cart to keep setup operations moving smoothly.
🌭 Fed our hard-working volunteers, artists, and city workers from the Scottie’s Dogs cart during the busy Friday setup.
💪 Hired a small crew to help our volunteers pack up on Sunday afternoon—providing an incredible boost right when everyone was exhausted after a long, hard weekend.

🐎What is a Lane Sponsor? We named our primary walking lanes after iconic artists in our Permanent Collection, including the internationally renowned Roland Hockett. His iconic copper horse and eagle sculptures are beautiful staples of the LeMoyne Arts Garden. It is the continued generosity of partners like WestScott Construction that allows us to keep the arts thriving in Tallahassee!

🍻 Cheers to our Linda Van Beck Lane sponsors, Tri-Eagle Sales & PROOF Brewing Company, for keeping everyone refreshed with their iconic local craft beer! At the Main Bar, PROOF's locally brewed craft beer was poured cold straight from the Tri-Eagle beer trailer by the fantastic team at McKibbon Hospitality. From crisp, refreshing hops to crowd-favorite hard seltzers, it was a celebratory team effort of our local community partners.

✨ The craft beer experience didn't stop there—PROOF also generously donated cans of their local brews to the VIP Experience Bar, giving our sponsors a true taste of Tallahassee's finest craft beer scene all weekend long.

🎨 Wondering about the lane's name? We named our primary walking lanes after iconic artists from the Permanent Collection. This lane was proudly dedicated to the memory of the late painter and longtime LeMoyne Arts advocate, Linda Van Beck, celebrating her incredible 50-year legacy in our arts community as guests strolled through the Festival.
