Applications for AIA Florida’s Citizen Architect Class of 2026 are due today!

The Citizen Architect program recognizes members who demonstrate leadership and make an impact in their communities through civic service, nonprofit involvement, government boards, design charrettes and more.

Applications are due today, Oct. 12 by 11:59 p.m. Eastern. Selected Citizen Architects will be recognized during AIA Florida Legislative Day.

Your voice matters.

What challenges are architects facing, and how can we better communicate the value of architecture to clients, communities and decision-makers?

AIA Florida's Relevance of Architecture Study is gathering perspectives from across the design community to help inform future advocacy, communications and resources for the profession.

We want to hear from you. Whether you are an architect, associate or other design professional, your perspective is valuable. You do not need to be an AIA member to participate.

The survey is open through Nov. 2 and can be completed anonymously. Take the survey and encourage your colleagues to take it too!
