Creating Social Change: it’s in our DNA
Since 1976, Voices for Florida has been Florida’s nonprofit leader in engaging with thought leaders to drive social and economic innovation — both at community and state levels. As a backbone agency for social change, we specialize in partnering with others to solve complex social problems.
A Backbone Agency for Social Change
No government department or nonprofit can solve complex social problems on its own. Lasting social change requires multiple organizations from different sectors to abandon individual agendas in favor of a common agenda, shared measurement, alignment of efforts, and advancing policy, training and funding.
Lasting social change through collective impact also requires more structure than traditional partnerships or collaborations, with a centralized infrastructure – known as a backbone organization – to guide the transformation from acting alone to acting in concert. This is our specialty.
