We are so excited to introduce you to Nakia🌻 ✨

Nakia was born with Holoprosencephaly (HPE), a brain condition that develops early in pregnancy and affects the development of the forebrain. After having both of her legs amputated, a difficult decision for the Watson family, Nakia has been able to experience a better quality of life. Her family calls her “Sunflower” because of the light and positivity she brings wherever she goes.

We are so grateful to have Nakia as part of our Dance Marathon family and cannot wait to cheer her on this year!

Meet Ayden, one of our real-life superheroes 💛❤️

Diagnosed with a rare brain tumor at just 3 years old, Ayden has undergone 17 surgeries. Despite losing his vision, he continues to face every challenge with incredible strength and determination, learning and adapting to everyday life along the way.

Thanks to the support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Ayden is alive today. His story is a reminder of the courage our Miracle Families show every day and why we continue to fight for a better tomorrow.

A special moment for DM at FSU 💛❤️

Celebrating the impact of $697,380.85 from Year 31 in support of
FSU College of Medicine Pediatric Outreach Programs. These funds will help support children and families throughout our community, from physicals and dental care to medical music therapy in the NICU and family support services.

So grateful for everyone who made Year 31 possible and proud to see our hard work continue making a difference for local children and families.
