The Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) is a statewide organization of more than 1,000 public relations professionals dedicated to advancing the profession of public relations and enhancing the professional development of its members. The Capital Chapter of FPRA boasts a 100+ strong membership representing nearly every industry in the area, including government, associations, non-profit, e

ducation, healthcare, legal, corporate, retail, agencies and small business. Our chapter includes all levels of professional communicators, from students and new graduates to seasoned professionals. This strong network comes together for support and education through monthly membership meetings, professional development seminars and special events. We are committed not only to the betterment of our profession and ourselves, but also to our community. In addition to professional development opportunities, we lend our expertise to a number of community service projects throughout the year. This free program gives nonprofits without dedicated PR or communications staff access to one-on-one counseling from experienced PR professionals.

Applications are due Sept. 7.

ER for PR takes place Sept. 25 from 8:30 a.m. – noon at CareerSource Capital Region.
