FSU Women in Accounting

FSU Women in Accounting Peace.Love.Accounting. Women in Accounting meets on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Weichelt Lounge (RBB 220).

Our meetings and events bring unparalleled networking opportunities with recruiters from top firms, companies, and organizations such as: The US Women's Chamber of Commerce, KPMG, Ernst & Young, PwC, Deloitte, Grant Thornton, McGladrey, IRS, Thomas Howell Ferguson, FSU Career Center, and the American Women's Society of Certified Public Accountants (AWSCPA). Come for firm presentations, panel discu

ssions with recruiters, one-on-one networking time, and to get to know other women who are majoring in Accounting! Also, each semester there will be 2 community service events and 2 social events. Requirements for each semester:
•There is no GPA requirement
•Members must attend at least ONE meeting per month (there will be at least two meetings each month)
•Members must participate in ONE community service event (each semester there will be two community service events)
•Members are required to pay dues- $15 for a semester or $25 for the year (includes a t-shirt)
•WIA is geared towards accounting, but we welcome ALL majors interested in the club
•Men are also welcome and encouraged to join

Here is an update on the Yogurt Mountain social, we will be meeting on Landis at 6PM tomorrow not 7. I REPEAT do not pay attention to the COB email tomorrow that says 7PM because it is wrong we are meeting at 6PM. Also tomorrow is the last day to pay 5$ for Ronald McDonald house to get your community service requirement if you have not done so yet. Shirts will also be given out at the social if you have not gotten yours yet, this will be the last time you can pick them up this semester. Hope to see you all there!
