The Beta Nu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. proudly salutes Brother Al Green, a Spring 1968 initiate of the Beta Nu Chapter, for a lifetime commitment to service, leadership, and advocacy.

From serving as Justice of the Peace in Harris County to representing Texas’s 9th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives, Brother Green has dedicated more than four decades to uplifting communities and championing equity, justice, and opportunity for all.

Yesterday, the Brothers of the Beta Nu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. continued our commitment to service by volunteering at the Kearney Center, assisting with lunch preparation and serving meals to people of the Tallahassee community.

Through this opportunity, we were able to provide support, fellowship, and a warm meal to individuals in need.

Last Saturday, the Brothers of the Beta Nu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. continued their commitment to service through volunteer work at Goat House Farm.

By assisting with essential farm operations including maintaining outdoor spaces, supporting animal care efforts, and completing projects that help sustain the farm’s daily operations, brothers dedicated their time and effort to serving the community through meaningful hands-on work.

During Alpha Week the Brothers of the Beta Nu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. partnered with the Beta Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for our annual Sneauxball Social, combining fellowship and service to give back to the Tallahassee community

Students participated by donating canned goods, school supplies, and other essential items to support local individuals and families in need. As a thank you for giving back, participants enjoyed free snow cones throughout the event.

Together, Beta Nu and Beta Alpha continue to show the impact of unity, service, and community engagement both on campus and beyond.
