Congratulations to Buttercup on finding her furever home!

Buttercup now has an amazing mom who already adores her, plus new canine and feline sisters to share all her adventures with. Buttercup is such an energetic, loving girl who thrives on playtime and zoomies galore—she’s sure to keep her new family smiling every day. We can’t wait to see her live the happiest, fullest life

Happy with Pip (now Flow) & Thumbellina (now Luna) 😸

Luna and Flow, adopted together in August 2025, have turned into the funniest little duo! These two love lounging by the windows and somehow always end up in the most unexpected, odd little spots around the house.

Luna is the sweetest girl and can never get enough cuddles—she’ll even still suckle on your finger for as long as you let her. And when it comes to food… she loves to eat! Flow, on the other hand, is the adventurous explorer. She’s always on the hunt for a new place to discover and can usually be found perched in the highest spots she can reach.

They’re both super chill girls but definitely enjoy their play sessions together. We’re so happy they found such a loving home—and it’s clear they’re living their best lives... together 💚🐾

Congratulations to Bubbles on her adoption! 🐾

Bubbles was scooped up quickly by her new dad before we could even do an introduction post! When these two met, we knew it was meant to be. Bubbles is the sweetest little kitten with such an easygoing personality—she loves cuddling up with anyone nearby and is always happy to just relax and hang out. She has the perfect balance of playful energy and cozy nap time, making her the most purrfect companion. We are so excited to see Bubbles thrive in her new home.

We’ve had a VERY busy week here at FFAR! Between adoptions and intakes, our team has been working nonstop—but in the middle of it all, we’ve had two incredibly special moments worth celebrating 💚

Yesterday, we got to celebrate our amazing director’s birthday! It was a chance to pause, share some laughs, and show our appreciation for everything Samantha does for FFAR, our animals, and this community. 😸

And TODAY, we are beyond proud to celebrate our director again as she graduates from law school after three years of hard work, determination, and late nights. 🎓 She has spent the past seven years in Tallahassee, and now she’s stepping into an exciting new chapter as an attorney.

Samantha, your dedication inspires all of us every single day. We are so lucky to have you leading FFAR, and we can’t wait to see all the incredible things you’ll accomplish next.

Meet Buttercup! 😸

Buttercup is a 2.5 month old tortoiseshell kitten who is super sweet with an extra dash of curiosity. She’s always on the move—exploring, investigating, and keeping up with everything going on around her. Whether she’s wandering around checking things out, settling in for some cuddle time, or diving into play mode, she’s happy to go with the flow.

She absolutely loves to eat, play, and run around, so she’ll thrive in a home with plenty of stimulation—and ideally a feline sibling to match her energy. Buttercup is the perfect mix of adventurous and easygoing, always ready for whatever the day brings! 😸💚

Congratulations to Penny (now Miracle) on her adoption! 💚

This sweet girl was initially found in a storm drain and, after spending time in a foster home, landed herself in the most incredible furever home. We can't wait to see the wonderful life she and her parents and canine and feline siblings have ahead of them.

Happy with Chai (now Nala)! 💚

Adopted in September 2025 after being trapped with her brother, Bucky, this once shy girl has truly blossomed into the happiest, most loved pup. Her parents were exactly what she needed—patient, kind, and committed to helping her come out of her shell, and wow… has she ever 🥹

Nala has been living her best life, going on road trips to North Carolina and Ft. Lauderdale, and finally feeling completely at home where she belongs. And can we talk about her glow up?! Her coat has transformed from a light cream color into the most gorgeous, rich blend of colors—she is truly stunning! It is safe to say that she runs her household and is just a little bit spoiled 🤣

We couldn’t have dreamed up a better life for her 😸🐾

Happy with Dash! 🐾

Adopted in April 2025, Dash’s journey started a little rough. He and his parents and siblings came to us sick and from less-than-ideal conditions—but with time, care, and a whole lot of love, they all made incredible recoveries and found amazing homes.

And here’s Dash… (almost) all grown up 🥹

He truly has the BEST personality—equal parts sweet snuggle bug and 100% menace with absolutely no respect for personal space 😂 He keeps everyone on their toes in the best way. Dash is incredibly patient and gentle with his 5-year-old human brother. The two of them are constant adventure buddies, racing Hot Wheels cars and turning the house into their playground. He also bonded almost instantly with his older Sphynx brother, Ripper—and to this day, where you find one, the other is never far behind. Their bond is something really special.

We are so grateful to have been part of Dash’s story and to see him so deeply loved. Stories like his remind us why we do what we do 😸💚

Happy with Maple & Shamrock! 💚

Adopted together in March 2025, these two siblings are living their very best lives—and keeping their family thoroughly entertained while doing it!

Maple is a sassy, brilliant girl with a flair for drama. She’s always on the move, especially when the zoomies hit, and her favorite feather toy doesn’t stand a chance. She loves a good game of hide & seek with her dad—eking around corners and keeping him on his toes. Maple is as social as they come, greeting every new human like an old friend, and when she settles in for cuddles, her purr is truly something special. Equal parts sweetness and mischief, she’s always adding to the plot.

Shamrock (aka Shammy) is the sweetest, derpiest little guy with a personality that’s impossible not to love. He’s a tunnel enthusiast, popping his head out of the peep hole to surprise anyone who walks by. He’s obsessed with his mice toys, scratching post, and—most importantly—snuggling up on mom’s shoulder. Shammy is also quite the vocalist, “singing” his way through the house with a meow that can only be described as impressive. His range? Howler monkey, cow, and owl, of course. He loves everyone he meets, happily rubbing against them before plopping right into their lap for pets. And let’s not forget: he is the ultimate cardboard connoisseur.

Together, Maple and Shamrock are the perfect mix of chaos, cuddles, and comedy—and we couldn’t be happier they found their forever home side by side. 😸🐾

Congratulations to Domino on finding his furever family!

Domino has gone home with an amazing new family who already love him beyond measure. From the moment they met him, it was clear he had found his family—the ones who will spoil him with cuddles, laughter, and a lifetime of love.

We couldn’t be happier for this sweet, cuddly boy as he begins the next chapter of his life. Happy tails to Domino and his new family—may their days be filled with endless joy and love! 😸💚

Happy with Grip—now Butcher! 💚

Born in our care on April 12, 2024, Grip and his four siblings entered our world. Their sweet mom, Bella, unfortunately passed away just four weeks later due to underlying complications. Despite losing his mom at such a young age, this special polydactyl kitten fought hard—and he made it to the good life, just as we know Bella would’ve wanted.

After overcoming such a difficult start, Grip found exactly what he deserved—a loving furever home in July 2024. Now known as Butcher, he has been absolutely thriving ever since, and we couldn’t be happier to hear how amazing he’s doing!

This sweet boy has proven to be one of the most affectionate, loving cats around. His dad says he’s never met a cat as sweet as him—he truly is everyone’s best friend. Butcher has a way of making every person and animal he meets feel like they were put here just to be his companion. He’s met so many dogs and cats and gets along with all of them effortlessly!

He’s also quite the chatterbox, always ready to “talk” and keep his family company throughout the day. Whether he’s sharing his thoughts, asking for attention, or just being his expressive self, Butcher always has something to say.

When he’s not busy making new friends, you can find him playing fetch (yes, fetch!) or cuddled up with his favorite humans, making biscuits and soaking up all the love. He’s truly the perfect mix of playful and affectionate.

Butcher even made a big move across the country to Denver, Colorado for his dad’s work—and he handled it like a champ, doing amazing on the road trip, settling right in, and continuing to spread his love everywhere he goes.

It’s clear that Butcher and his dad share an incredibly special bond, and hearing that he’s someone’s “best friend” is exactly what rescue is all about. We are so grateful to his amazing dad for giving him such a wonderful life.
