We are please to announce and celebrate our 2026 Scholarship Winners‼️

First place Ruby Award winner is Kayden Hall of Rickards High School. He plans to further his education at Tuskegee University.

Second place Gold Award winner is Victoria Bernadin, also of Rickards High School. She plans to attend Wesleyan University.

Third place Pearl Award winner is Timilia Shellman of Deerfield Beach High School. She will make Bethune Cookman University her next stop on her education journey.

Congratulations to each and every winner! We wish you continued success.

As the Philanthropic Arm of Mu Mu Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., MMS CARES was proud to be a Table Sponsor for the United Way of Big Bend Women’s Leadership Breakfast.

A dynamic of event of networking, encouragement, and a motivating speech from this year's Keynote Speaker, former Miss USA, Deshauna Barber-Echols. Members presented a gift as well as a form of gratitude.

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority member, Deshauna Barber-Echols, former Miss USA, Army veteran and international motivational speaker, will be the keynote speaker at the United Way of Big Bend’s Women’s Leadership Breakfast. It will be held November 6, 2025, 8:30 AM at Tallahassee’s Donald L. Tucker Civic Center. 💙🐩💛

MMS CARES supported the Mu Mu Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. in their appearance at the Florida A&M Homecoming Parade.

CARES provided 200 mini bags of candy and inspirational notecards to the youth in attendance.

We hope each card inspires the next generation of scholars to achieve and reach their dreams!

It is Graduation Time!!

We are please to announce our 2025 Scholarship for 3 Graduating High School Seniors. This is available for students in Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Madison and Wakulla counties in Florida.

➡️ The application period opens May 1, 2025 and ends May 31, 2025. Winners will be announced June 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM ET.
