Bond Community Health Center is hosting a second Men's Listening Session, next week, on Tuesday, August 12 for their Men's Comprehensive Health Center. Men, you are invited! Please see the enclosed link. We hope you will be able to attend. Men must register and we need a headcount for dinner (the July dinner was delicious), so please review and complete the form. If the power remains out and you lose all of your food, file a FEMA Claim for $750.

*Note: You must say or use these exact words: "I HAVE A SERIOUS FOOD NEED"800-621-3362 for the FEMA FOOD ALLOWANCE. Please give out this information I know a lot of people, will have food lost.

Assistance/funding also available for hotel acommodation .

Samaritan's Purse is helping Perry homeowners affected by the recent disaster. Volunteers may be able to assist you in the following ways:

Temporary Roof Tarping
Chainsaw Work
Removal of Personal Property and Furniture

Please call 833-747-1234 to speak with a Samaritan's Purse representative.

You can also contact Florida Baptist Disaster Relief and Recovery Ministries at 904-253-0502 for assistance or text Helene to 27123. Volunteers are in the process of transporting and setting up equipment and resources at First Baptist Church in Perry, which will serve as the disaster relief command center. As soon as the command center is operational, they will begin providing meals, damage assessment, clean-up and recovery, and spiritual care.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TODAY & THURSDAY!

In response to Hurricane Helene, 211 Big Bend is packing boxes of food and other supplies at the Spanish SDA Church at 4823 N Monroe St, Tallahassee, FL 32303, for people in need.

Contact Summer Boggs 850-510-1374. Assistance will be needed Tuesday, and Thursday from 10am-2pm. It will be in a warehouse-please wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and breathable clothing that is not loose.

This is a warehouse environment with no a/c. Bring water, snacks and lunch!
