First 1000 Days Florida Convening state-wide collaborations of organizations and individuals for the first 1000 days of life

The first 1,000 days of life is from the start of pregnancy until the child's 3rd birthday and this time offers a singular window of opportunity to shape healthier and more successful children. Skills and risks that develop during this critical period are cumulative and form the foundation for every child’s future. That's why Florida must prioritize its policies to support prenatal and postpartum

care, high quality early childhood education, prevention of trauma and the support of resilience, health care, and other prevention services. For Florida to have a sustainable social and economic future, it must invest more in families with young children especially in the first 1000 days.

This upcoming conference builds on the excitement of improving maternal and child health in Florida! Hope you see you there!

All requests for refund must be made in writing to Nicole Rechner at [email protected] on or before Friday, March 6, 2026. No refunds will be issued after this date. All eligible refund requests will be subject to a $50 administrative fee. Substitutions are welcomed and strongly encouraged.
