Yesterday, members of Ahmed Court were up bright and early at 6am volunteering at the 9th Annual Shoes 4 School event hosted by the Family Worship and Praise Center.

We were honored to lend a helping hand as children throughout our community shopped for the perfect pair of back to school shoes—completely free of charge. Thiis opportunity allowed us to help put smiles on the children's faces, as well as the parents!

Ahmed Court No. 134 D.I.M.E. (Daughters of Imperial, Mentoring Excellence) Mentors and Mentees had the pleasure of educating the youth at Capital City Youth Services about "No Va**ng & No Smoking” of to***co products and the dangers associated with them.

The youth were very interactive and demonstrated exceptional intelligence, attentiveness, and active engagement throughout the presentation. Displaying the healthy lung and the smoker’s lung was truly impactful, sparking great questions and conversations about making better life choices.

It was definitely a treat to speak with and present to such a brilliant and respectful group of young people!!

Yesterday evening, Ahmed Court was pleased to provide dinner to the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House.

The Ronald McDonald House offers affordable accommodations and a comforting home away from home for families of seriously ill or injured children receiving medical treatment.

We were honored to serve and bring a little comfort to these families during a challenging time.
