🇺🇸 WE BEGIN IN 30 MINUTES | JOIN US LIVE

In just 30 minutes, we will begin "From Remembrance to Renewal: Community Reflection on the 25th Anniversary of 9/11" at Amazon HQ2 in Arlington, Virginia.

Tonight, we come together to remember those we lost, honor those who responded and answered the call to serve, and reflect on the resilience, unity, and strength of a community and Nation forever changed by September 11, 2001.

The program begins at 6:30 p.m. ET, and we invite you to join us from wherever you are via livestream.

This evening’s panel brings together individuals with deeply personal connections to September 11 and its aftermath:

🇺🇸The Honorable Brian Birdwell — Retired U.S. Army officer and Pentagon 9/11 survivor who was critically injured in the attack.

🇺🇸 Ron Carlee — Arlington County Manager at the time of the September 11 attack on the Pentagon.

🇺🇸 CAPT Bernetta Lane, USPHS (Ret.) — Military Women’s Memorial Ambassador who was serving at the DiLorenzo Pentagon Health Clinic and became a first responder following the attack.

🇺🇸 Jim Schwartz — Retired Arlington County Deputy County Manager and former Arlington firefighter who played a key leadership role in Arlington’s response to the Pentagon attack.

🇺🇸 CW5 (Ret.) Phyllis Wilson — President of the Military Women’s Memorial and 37-year U.S. Army veteran, who will moderate this evening’s conversation.

Together, they will reflect on what happened that day and what followed: the response, recovery, call to service, resilience of our communities, and lessons we carry forward 25 years later.
