The Foundation exists as a separate not-for-profit corporation.

Big Bend Hospice Foundation was established in 1995 to solicit, receive and manage donations and other charitable gifts intended to support the programs and activities of Big Bend Hospice.

Support the “21 Club” at the Annual Dr. Bass Golf Tournament!

Todd Hunter, Sr. was a dedicated member of the Big Bend Hospice Foundation Board of Trustees (2014–2019) and a passionate advocate for compassionate end-of-life care. Seven years ago, Todd spent his final days at the Margaret Z. Dozier Hospice House, surrounded by love, family, and dignity.

An avid golfer and longtime member of the Dr. Bass Golf Committee, Todd’s legacy lives on through the “21 Club.” Proceeds support hospice services for those in need. Join us in carrying Todd’s legacy forward by supporting the “21 Club,” or purchasing a hole sign.

Thank You, Capital Medical Society! 💜

We are incredibly grateful to the Capital Medical Society for their generous $5,000 grant in support of Big Bend Hospice's Community Bereavement Services.

This funding helps ensure that individuals and families in our community have access to compassionate grief support as they navigate the loss of a loved one. Through counseling, support groups, educational programs, and other bereavement resources, we can continue providing care, comfort, and hope to those who need it most.
