Hajj Mabroor 🕋 & Eid ul-Hajjaaj Mubarak 🌙

On the auspicious occasion of Eid ul-Adha (the three-day Festival of Sacrifice), Project Lake Ella distributed sweets to children at Lake Ella Park. This day reminds us of Prophet Ibrahim’s pbuh willingness to make a grand sacrifice for the sake of his Lord Allah Almighty. This Eid inculcates a sense of sacrifice, compassion and kindness in the giver. May we continue to honor this prophetic tradition and distribute food to those in need.

Barakah Boxes Holiday Special 🎁

Project Lake Ella prepared and distributed 50 delicious warm meals to individuals seeking shelter at Lake Ella Park, the Kearney Center and throughout Frenchtown. Chocolate is an absolute must during this time of year and had to be shared with those experiencing food insecurity in our town. Happy Holidays to all and let’s continue serving our community!

The Sadaqah Sweaters initiative is continuing to spread warmth and compassion throughout our community. Alhamdulillah Project Lake Ella distributed cardigans to individuals at Lake Ella Park and throughout Frenchtown. Stay safe Tallahassee and let’s continue spreading the love!

The Sadaqah Sweaters initiative has officially launched! Our mission is to provide warm clothing to members of our community who are struggling to afford proper housing and lack adequate clothing. Over the course of the past month, the Project Lake Ella team has been working to collect and package sweaters. As temperatures drop, we hope to provide shelter and subsistence to individuals experiencing homelessness. Insha’Allah through the efforts of our volunteers and donors we can make a small difference in those who are seeking shelter on our streets.

Upon the arrival of autumn, the Project Lake Ella team will be launching our Stay Warm initiative! We have amassed a large number of cozy sweaters and cardigans that will be donated and distributed out to individuals experiencing homelessness in the local area. Despite living in Florida, when temperatures drop and individuals lack adequate clothing or housing, they are left susceptible to the cold. So let the season of giving begin! 🧡
