A grant from the nonprofit 100 Women Who Care is helping the Southern Shakespeare Company keep its educational programs running.

Ladies, our fearless leader has done it again! Grateful beyond words for this beautiful soul❤️

TFPSA must express our exorbitant amount of gratitude to Virginia Glass, Founder of 100+ Women Who Care of Tallahassee and the entire organization. 100+ Women Who Care, Tallahassee provided TFPSA with our largest donation as a League Sponsor!

For those who may not be from Tallahassee (because anyone that is from here certainly knows the name!), Virginia Glass has been involved in philanthropy for decades and is widely known in our area as a leader in real estate.

100+ Women Who Care, www.100wwctlh.org was founded by Virginia in 2020 whose sole purpose is to provide funding and support for local nonprofits – especially the smaller businesses who just don’t have the funds to support their amazing missions on their own. The Tallahassee Chapter has over 200 members now and is expected to raise over $500,000 this year – all of which has gone back to our community, including TFPSA!

Our 2023 Q3 meeting did not disappoint. We had a great in-person turnout and some pretty awesome organizations share their cause with us! Shine Tallahassee was the recipient for our 3rd Quarter Donations totaling $27,900. We can’t wait to hear how these funds are being used to continue their cause, at our Q4 meeting 🎉

Another insightful meeting hearing about nonprofits doing great work right here in our community 🩷 Congrats to our 2nd Quarter winning recipient Joseph House! In just one hour today, our 237 members came together to raise $23,700 for this organization to be able to not only continue their efforts, but to also expand them😍 Virginia and I are endlessly grateful for our members and their ongoing commitment to this group (3 years strong and growing). We had a great meeting last Tuesday night with good in-person and zoom attendance. ALZHEIMER'S PROJECT was the chosen nominee for this meetings donations. Great presentations by all three nominees, and remember, the two who did not win can re-submit their nominees at a future meeting. Check presentation is SAT, AUG. 20, 2022 AT 10 AM AT 301 E. THARPE ST, 32303. I encourage you to attend if you are available - we get a tour of the building and more information about their work.
