❤️ Community Partnerships Making a Difference! ❤️

We are incredibly grateful to First Baptist Church of Wakulla Station for allowing For The Least of These, Inc. to pick up shelf-stable food boxes on behalf of families who are unable to travel to their distribution site.

This collaboration helps ensure that children and youth facing transportation, health, or other barriers still have access to nutritious food. Together, we’re removing obstacles and making sure no family is left behind simply because they can’t make the trip.

Honoring a Legacy of Service ❤️

Today, we were honored to attend a special celebration at Maranatha Seventh-day Adventist Church recognizing Sister Janice Ellington, her dedicated staff, and the many volunteers who have faithfully served our community through the Second Harvest Food Distribution Ministry since 2008.

What started with serving 11 households has grown into an incredible ministry that now reaches more than 3,000 households each month. That kind of impact doesn’t happen by chance—it is the result of unwavering faith, countless hours of service, and a genuine love for helping others.

For The Least of These, Inc. is truly grateful for our partnership with Maranatha. Together, we have been able to extend hope and provide nutritious food to families, seniors, and individuals throughout our community.

Congratulations to Sister Janice Ellington, your staff, and every volunteer who has faithfully served over the years. Your compassion, dedication, and servant hearts have made a lasting difference in the lives of thousands.

💙 Collaborative Food Distribution July 6 💙

On July 6, For The Least of These, Inc. was honored to continue our Collaborative Food Distribution at Smith-Williams Senior Center, helping ensure that nutritious food reaches those who need it most.

During this distribution, we served 17 households, consisting of 33 individuals, by providing:
🍗 Frozen chicken wings
🍑 Peaches
🥛 Milk
🥣 Yogurt

Many of the individuals we serve face transportation barriers that make it difficult—or even impossible—to travel to food distribution sites. By delivering food directly to Smith-Williams Senior Center, we help ensure that these community members have access to fresh, nutritious food they might not otherwise receive.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated distribution partner, Mrs. Paulette Gainous, whose compassion and commitment to serving others make this outreach possible. We are also deeply grateful to Sister Janice Ellington and the food ministry at Maranatha Seventh-day Adventist Church for faithfully partnering with us to help fight food insecurity in our community.

It takes all of us working together to make a lasting impact. Thank you to our volunteers, supporters, and community partners for helping us bring hope, nourishment, and dignity to our neighbors.
