We are grateful to share that For The Least of These, Inc. recently received a generous donation from an anonymous community partner in support of our Community Commodities Program.

This contribution will help us continue providing essential household, hygiene, and personal care items to seniors, individuals with disabilities, students, and families experiencing hardship throughout our community.

While our donor has chosen to remain anonymous, we want them to know that their generosity will have a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve. Every donation, whether public or private, helps us extend compassion, dignity, and practical support to our neighbors in need.

Thank you to all of our supporters, volunteers, and community partners who make this work possible. Together, we are proving that small acts of kindness can create lasting change.

For The Least of These, Inc. is honored to partner with Elevate Church Tallahassee and their Bethel Towers Outreach Ministry as we continue expanding community support efforts for seniors in our area.

Through this partnership, we will help provide hygiene items and essential care support to residents participating in the outreach ministry at Bethel Towers Assisted Living Facility. We believe small acts of compassion, encouragement, and dignity-centered care can make a meaningful impact in the lives of our seniors.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to Pastor Towanda Davila Davis for the opportunity to collaborate in serving the community through this meaningful outreach initiative.

We are grateful for partnerships with organizations and ministries that are committed to serving others with love, compassion, and consistency.

This initiative will operate as part of our Senior Care & Comfort Outreach under the Community Commodities Program.

Together, we can continue making a difference — one act of service at a time.

Today, For The Least of These, Inc. continued our collaborative food distribution efforts at Smith-Williams Senior Center in partnership with Maranatha SDA Church, Sister Janice Ellington and our community distribution partner, Mrs. Paulette Gainous.

We are grateful for every opportunity to help place food and essential resources into the hands of seniors and families in our community. These weekly collaborative distributions are more than food deliveries — they are acts of service, compassion, and community connection.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support the mission and to those working behind the scenes to make these outreach efforts possible. Small organizations can still make a real impact when people come together with willing hearts and a commitment to serve.

For The Least of These, Inc. would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Dianne Williams-Cox Campaign for their generous donation in support of our College Student Support Initiative!

This contribution will help us provide food and essential household support to college students experiencing financial hardship as they work toward their educational goals. Through this initiative, students will receive monthly support designed to help reduce food insecurity and promote stability and academic persistence.

We are truly grateful for community leaders and partners who recognize the importance of investing in our students and supporting the next generation.

For The Least of These, Inc. is excited to announce the successful completion of our first collaborative food distribution with Maranatha SDA Church and Sister Janice Ellington on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Smith-Williams Senior Center in Tallahassee.

This partnership represents more than food distribution — it represents community, compassion, and collaboration in action. Through this initiative, food was picked up in bulk through our partnership with Maranatha SDA Church and distributed locally through our community distribution partner, Mrs. Paulette Gainous, who coordinated delivery and outreach efforts at the Smith-Williams Senior Center.

We are grateful for leaders and community partners who are committed to making sure resources reach the people who need them most. Smith-Williams Senior Center was the first of several planned distribution partner sites, with future outreach already being planned for Mission Hills Apartments and additional locations to come.

This is only the beginning.

A special thank you to Maranatha SDA Church, Mrs. Paulette Gainous, and everyone who played a role in helping us serve our community with dignity, care, and consistency.

🎓 Launching Our College Student Support Initiative 🎓

For The Least of These, Inc. is proud to announce the launch of our College Student Support Initiative, designed to support low-income and first-generation college students in our community.

Many students face small but critical financial gaps that can impact their ability to stay enrolled. This initiative provides monthly basic needs assistance, academic incentives across three semesters, and emergency support to help students remain stable and succeed.

We are launching a pilot program to support 5 students and are actively seeking community partners and sponsors to help us expand.
