🕊️ In Loving Memory of Lauren “L-boogie” Horn 🕊️
Like so many of you, we came to Lauren’s page searching for information — trying to understand, trying to make sense of a loss that feels unreal. What we found instead was an overwhelming outpouring of love that speaks volumes about who Lauren was.
Over and over, people describe her as kind, caring, loving, dependable, loyal, smart, and funny — someone with the biggest heart, who showed up for others and helped wherever she could. Many simply said, Lauren was a light. She had a way of making people feel seen, supported, and at ease, whether as a friend, classmate, coworker, or family member.
Lauren was also an amazing and deeply proud mother. Those closest to her shared that her world truly revolved around her son, Mojo. She spoke of him often, loved him fiercely, and poured her heart into motherhood. Her legacy lives on through him and through the countless lives she touched.
She was a proud Rattler, a cherished classmate, a loyal friend, and a beautiful soul taken far too soon. Her absence is deeply felt by family, friends, classmates, coworkers, and the entire FAMUly.
This post includes a few moments from Lauren’s time at FAMU and with her FAMUly, including memories with her dear friend Nina, another fallen Rattler, shared in love and remembrance.
