Chuck was one of those rare people whose impact can't be measured by titles, accomplishments, or years alone. He was a father. A firefighter. A friend. A brother to many. A true hero. A man who showed up when people needed him most and left every room, every conversation, and every life a little better than he found it.

The Highland Games community lost one of its own. Our community lost a genuine hero.

Words feel inadequate for moments like this. They always do.

So as corny as it may sound, maybe this song helps carry Strongbow on his journey to Valhalla. May the halls be warm, the mead never empty, and the stories of his deeds echo long after us.

Rest easy, Strongbow. You will be missed, but you will not be forgotten.
