💛5 Ronald McDonald Houses. 5 Cities. Countless Opportunities to Give Back.

We just had the opportunity to visit our 5th Ronald McDonald House, right here in our new hometown of Columbia, Missouri!

Over the years, our family has been blessed to support Ronald McDonald House Charities in five different communities:

❤️ Chapel Hill, NC
❤️ Baltimore, MD
❤️ Kingsport, TN
❤️ Tallahassee, FL
❤️ Columbia, MO

From collecting pop tabs (one of the easiest ways to get kiddos involved!) to preparing meals, attending galas, baking treats, and dropping off donations, we’ve learned that giving back doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful.

What I love most is that there is truly something for every age to do. It’s such a simple way to serve together as a family while teaching our children the importance of showing up for others.

Different cities, different seasons of life, but the same mission: “Keeping Families Close.” 💛

Little acts of kindness can make a big difference, and I’m so grateful we’ve been able to carry this tradition with us wherever life takes our family.

Five years of kindness, generosity, service, and our family learning just how much of a difference we can make together. We are so grateful for every person who has supported, donated, served, and encouraged us along the way.

And we’re celebrating BIG! 🎉 Thanks to some amazing support, we’ll be putting together 50 birthday kits for our local food bank to help make birthdays a little more special for families in our community. 🎂🎈

A fresh new haircut with a pretty special purpose. ✂️🫶
Rylee decided to cut 8 inches and donate her hair to Children With Hair Loss! Her big sister Sophia has donated her hair twice, and we love continuing to support this amazing nonprofit and its mission to provide human hair replacements at no cost to children and young adults experiencing medically related hair loss. 🤍

📬❤️ Stamp Out Hunger Day ❤️📬

This is our 5th year participating in such an easy way to give back — especially for the little ones to learn that even small acts of kindness can make a big impact.

Today, mail carriers across the country will simply pick up any nonperishable food items you leave by your mailbox and deliver them to local families in need. It truly doesn’t get easier than that.

Teaching our children that serving others can be woven into everyday life is how we raise a legacy of kindness.
