The 7 Hearts Project

The 7 Hearts Project An organization aiming to end food security and improve our community through other acts of service.

The love for charitable giving runs deep in our family and we created our own nonprofit, The 7 Hearts Project Inc. Our main goal is to fill hearts with service, representing our big family of seven, bringing blessings from our family to yours.

📬❤️ Stamp Out Hunger Day ❤️📬

This is our 5th year participating in such an easy way to give back — especially for the little ones to learn that even small acts of kindness can make a big impact.

Today, mail carriers across the country will simply pick up any nonperishable food items you leave by your mailbox and deliver them to local families in need. It truly doesn’t get easier than that.

Teaching our children that serving others can be woven into everyday life is how we raise a legacy of kindness.

Something as simple as a pair of shoes can restore dignity, confidence, and hope.
Join us at the Southwood Spring Fling on April 11 from 10-1 to drop off your gentley used or new shoes! Every pair makes a difference.

The 7 Hearts Project is so excited to collaborate with Soles4Souls for our THIRD International project!
It’s so important to teach our children that beyond our borders, there are real needs for things we often take for granted…like having a pair of shoes to walk in each day. Providing shoes may seem like a small act, but it brings dignity, confidence, and hope to those who need it most.
Raising a legacy means opening our children’s eyes to the world and showing them how something simple can make a lasting impact. 🫶

Raising a Legacy 🐢
Rylee has always had a special love for sea turtles, so she created her own beach clean-up kits to help spread awareness about the dangers litter poses to our beaches and oceans. Protecting marine life is something that truly matters to her.
As a future marine biologist, she’s already determined to make a difference.
Helping our kids discover their passions not only builds confidence, it empowers them to use their voices and gifts to make an impact. When children learn to care for the world around them, they gain skills and purpose that last a lifetime. 💙🌎

Want to get your teenage boys excited about giving back? Start by showing them examples like this incredible duo who turned an idea into action. 🙌
Day Brown and Ford Brown created their own nonprofit, DoublePlay, collecting gently used youth sports equipment and donating it to children in the City of Tallahassee’s Youth Sports Program. They saw a need, took initiative, and made sure more kids could get in the game. Now that’s leadership in action!
👏 Nice work, boys!
3 Tips to Get Your Teenager Involved in the Community:
1️⃣ Let them lead. When teens feel ownership—like creating, organizing, or choosing the cause—they become invested.
2️⃣ Connect service to their passions. Sports, music, animals, mentoring—service feels meaningful when it aligns with what they already love.
3️⃣ Start small, stay consistent. A single act can spark confidence, but regular involvement builds compassion, responsibility, and purpose.
Raising kids who serve others doesn’t just help the community—it builds character that lasts a lifetime. 💛

Teaching little hearts how to give back starts small—and it matters more than ever. 🥫🤍
This Saturday, February 7, we’re supporting Scouting for Food, an annual community food drive helping families facing hunger right here at home.
Easy ways to get young kids involved:
✨ Let them pick out canned goods at the store
✨ Have them pack a bag or box together
✨ Talk about who the food helps and why kindness matters
Place non-perishable food items (canned fruits & veggies, peanut butter, cereal, tuna, soups) in a recycled bag or box on your doorstep by 9:00 AM. Scouts will deliver donations to Second Harvest Food Bank or a local drop-off center.
Small acts. Big lessons. Lasting impact.
This is how we raise helpers. ❤️
