September 18 is National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day ❤️

Thanks to incredible advances in HIV treatment, people with HIV are living longer, healthier, and fuller lives. As the population of older adults with HIV continues to grow, so does the importance of ensuring access to compassionate, informed, and stigma-free care at every age.

Today, we spread awareness, celebrate the progress that has made aging with HIV possible, and continue working toward a future where everyone, regardless of their age, has the support and care they deserve.

Mental health matters. For people living with HIV, stigma, discrimination, and isolation can take an additional toll on mental well-being. Creating communities where people feel safe, supported, and heard is an important part of caring for the whole person.
