is more than a campaign — it is a declaration that no human being should ever be commoditized, sold, owned, or exploited.

Every person has inherent worth beyond any price or profit. This movement is about recognizing our shared humanity, standing against exploitation, and supporting those who are vulnerable or victimized.

It is a call for awareness and an invitation to safety, dignity, and hope for survivors everywhere.

You are not for sale.

You are not disposable.

You are invaluable.

Major events like the World Cup bring increased travel, crowds, and demand for hospitality services—conditions that traffickers often exploit. During World Cup activities, the Blue Campaign, a national public awareness initiative led by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security designed to combat human trafficking, is leading a public awareness effort through digital and out-of-home advertising to educate visitors, local residents, and frontline workers.

The campaign focuses on industries such as hotels, hospitality, and transportation, where employees are more likely in a position to recognize and report human trafficking.

Awareness and reporting are critical tools in preventing human trafficking during the World Cup and all year long. If you suspect trafficking in Florida, call 855-FLA-SAFE.

Human trafficking is a crime that thrives in the shadows, which is why awareness, training, and community engagement are critical to prevention.

On June 2, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced a historic human trafficking enforcement effort, highlighting the ongoing work of law enforcement agencies across our state to identify traffickers, protect victims, and hold offenders accountable. Florida continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to combating human trafficking through enforcement, victim services, prevention, and public awareness.

In Florida, training to recognize, prevent and report human trafficking is a legal requirement across several industries. Licensed or certified healthcare professionals —including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, therapists, and other regulated providers—must complete a one-hour course annually. Additionally, employees in public lodging establishments, particularly those in housekeeping and front desk roles, are required to complete training each year, too.

We offer a one-hour course focused on recognizing trafficking indicators and reporting requirements.*

Complete your hours and get certified through us today. https://www.floridaallianceendht.com/training/

*Check your professional board or industry for approved training providers.
