OK PARENTS‼️
If You missed this past Saturday and didn’t get a chance to get your kids book bags 🎒with school supplies. No Worries!! We are about to do another giveaway this coming Saturday, August 3rd. I’ve partnered with Cheers Tallahassee to give away 500 more book bags complete with the school supplies. No Registration needed, but get there early. Child must be present!! BackPacks are first come first serve. We will also have Free Drinks & Snacks available. See Yall this Saturday 10am | 📍 2415 S. Adams St. Tallahassee, FL

Good Morning everyone!!!!

Here’s the information regarding setup for the 4rd Annual Juneteenth Empowerment Day FestivalSaturday June 15! It is imperative that you arrive at your setup time! There will be lots of vendors and sponsors setting up! There will be a 15 min grace period between times. To be fair to everyone if you miss your window you will have to wait behind those who are on time. Again this is to keep everything flowing and to ensure everyone has time to set up.

Food Truck/ Trailers your setup time is 9:00am. You will have a one hour window to arrive on Suwannee street before the road is blocked off. At 10:00 gates will be locked and TPD will have the road closed off on Suwannee street. Only those who are authorized to enter will be able to.

Here’s the schedule: (see attached document for your exact time)

8:00am: Event Coordinators arrive
9:00am: Food Truck Setup
9:30am: Wave 1
9:45am: Wave 2
10:00am: Wave 3
10:15am: Wave 4
10:45am: Performers and Speakers Arrive
12:00 pm: Event begins
6:00pm: Event Ends: pack up
6:30pm: area clean and clear(no dumping in park; food trucks must be cleared also)

PLEASE BE ON TIME EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO DROP OFF AND COME BACK.

The event starts at noon but the park is still open to the public. Please keep that in my mind.

Check in with me upon arrival; I will be located under a Famu tent with an sign that says vendor registration. Once you check in you will pick a spot that is marked with your companies name/logo.
