The Alabama Association of the Deaf Youth Section (AADYS) had an amazing time attending Celebration of Black Deaf Excellence (CBDE) in North Carolina! 💙✨

A special thank-you to Myaslteacherrocks for inviting our youth to such a wonderful and inspiring event. They truly had a ball, made meaningful connections, and had the opportunity to meet and learn from their admirers, mentors, and Black Deaf leaders.

This is what AADYS is all about—creating opportunities for young Deaf people to connect, learn, grow, and see leaders who are paving the way for the next generation. 🖤🤟🏾

We also had the privilege of watching our President, Brittney Fisher, take the stage as a panelist and share her journey as a Medical Assistant, President of AADYS, and Vice President of another Deaf organization.

Watching her step into her purpose, share her experiences, and represent AADYS on that stage was truly inspiring. We are in awe watching our President shine! ✨

Thank you, CBDE, for creating a space where Black Deaf excellence, leadership, culture, and community can be celebrated. We are proud to be part of the next generation!

Deaf. Empowered. United. 💙🤟🏾
