The Takoma Art Library (Free Art Supplies for All) is a joyful, uplifting community hub — and we need your help to keep it thriving! 💛

Give just 1 hour a week (or 2 the next week if you’re away) and:

✨ LOTS of Dollhouse Furniture Kits & Miniatures! ✨
The Takoma Art Library (free art supplies for all) just stocked up on serious vintage and brand-new dollhouse kits and miniatures. Many are from the House of Miniatures — plus brand new, very expensive Houseworks dollhouse kits and Cir-Kit miniature lighting kits for the truly advanced builders. These are adult-level kits that take real skill: cutting, woodworking, gold leafing, wiring, and more.

PLEA FOR DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS!

I need people who can give a minimum of one hour a week. Or two the next week if you’re out of town. This resource is super busy and beloved by many, but I can not do this alone. It takes a tremedous amount of time. Please consider taking this project under your wing. We’d love to have you, and you can come on your own schedule. It’s fun & social. And one of the most important things we can do now is cherish and build our community.

The Takoma Art Library (Free Supplies for All) is making a

PLEA FOR DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS!

I need people who can give a minimum of one hour a week. Or two the next week if you're out of town. This resource is super busy and beloved by many, but I can not do this alone. It takes a tremedous amount of time. Please consider taking this project under your wing. We’d love to have you, and you can come on your own schedule. It’s fun & social.

The Takoma Art Library is your community resource for free art supplies. Our mission is to promote creativity and recycling. The space has been lovingly restocked today. Here are some of the wonderful things that have just been added. Lots of construction paper!!! This needs to be taken, felt of every color, drawing paper, art books, beads, contact paper, wood crafting items, collage materials, tacks, paintable night lights and more.

This community resource takes a tremendous amount of volunteer hours. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL!

RULES:
1. Children need direct supervision.
2. The Library is closed when dark & when raining or snowing.
3. Do not take any containers. They are used for organizing.
4. If you unfold or unpack something put it back, and tuck items in before closing the cabinet doors.

Be gentle and kind, take what you need and share with others. Basically, be a good neighbor & human. 🙏❤️

Please leave your donations in the black/yellow bin. Only with your help, can the library carry on. Take new supplies and leave behind what you don’t need so others can create. Bags are provided.❤️

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK:
There are sharp items such as needles & scissors. Do not climb on the cabinet.

SO MUCH SCRAPBOOKING & VISION BOARDING ITEMS!!! Come get it!

The Takoma Art Library (free art supplies for all) has lots and lots of construction paper, and high end scrapbooking items that are brand new. Lots of kits by Becky Higgins Project Life. These are beautiful scrapbooking prompts. The paper cabinet is at the bottom of the middle cabinet. Take all the paper items you can!
