GSWW Weather Update:

Our team is closely monitoring winter weather impacts across all GSWW camp properties. All property team members are safe. Here’s the latest:

Evergreen: Light pooling near the lodge; reassessment happening later this morning.
Lyle McLeod: Swollen lake; trees cleared from the road; no internet.
River Ranch: Water was expected to peak around 10 a.m.
Robbinswold: Minor debris; no internet.
St. Albans: Main camp looks good; back trails not yet checked.
Towhee: No flooding reported in the area.

Plan your getaway to Girl Scout camp! You can reserve a site up to 120 days in advance. Indoor units at select properties are available nearly year-round, and outdoor units start becoming available in March. Give yourself something to look forward to and book your stay now! 🏕

Hello Friends of Camp Lyle McLeod! Are you registered for one of tomorrow's Camp Town Halls?

Hard to believe, but it’s already time for our Spring Camp Town Hall, and we are excited to update our most ardent supporters on what’s happening across all our camp properties: what’s been happening, what’s to come, and how you can get involved.
Our time together will focus on programs, recruitment and our vision project.

There are two options (both are identical in content) - one at noon and one at 7 p.m.. Links to register are in the comments.

Smoke Policy:
• All camp properties should be following the Emergency Action Plan for their property in any severe weather, emergency scenario.
• Closure Parameters:
o Move people indoors and encourage people to stay indoors when AQI is above 150.
o AQI above 150-all outdoor unit reservations should be moved to indoor available units or cancelled if indoor units are not available.
o AQI above 150-all outdoor program areas will be cancelled.
o If AQI reaches above 200, then the property should be closed.
o Property Managers & Camp Program Directors will be considering both current & forecasted AQI in their decision process utilizing Interactive Maps (wa.gov).

Camp Lyle McLeod will be available for day and overnight use starting August 13, 2022.

We are currently offering a 30% discount* if you make a site reservation at Camp St. Albans, Camp Lyle McLeod or Camp Evergreen for Monday through Thursday now through Labor Day weekend.

*Note: The 30% discount does not apply to program areas. If you are interested in a program area, we would be happy to assist you with locating a certified archery instructor, boating instructor, or lifeguard. Please understand that we cannot guarantee locating someone though. This discount is only valid Monday through Thursday night and not limited to the number of nights you stay.
