After the February storm cleared, we were hoping to post this to build March Meet Up stoke! But 😤 then the rains came, then the sun, then next week the heat!

A heart breaking Tahoe Snowmobiling season it has been but the meet ups have been season makers for us and hopefully for you and your crew also🙏

March riding and the meet up are questionable at best. Maybe a lake day meet up? Ideas? Pray for snow?

Keep ya posted and thanks again to the Morrows for hosting a GREAT Meet up!

The storm clouds moved out and the moved in to Steve and Mary's front yard! Huge thank you to the Morrow family for their support and hospitality to the snowmobile community. ✊️

The weather and snow were perfect, the parking lot has some room for improvement but we ALL made it work. I am guessing about 60 to 70 riders were there for lunch, laughs and building our community stronger.

Thank you for all showing up, thanks to the board and everyone that helps this club do rad stuff!

Free professional photos are live in the link in bio IG/FB comments for you to download, share, print and enjoy!

Today's avalanche casualties of backcountry skiers near Castle send us some strong reminders. Thoughts and prayers for all effected by this trajedy.

First and foremost, this is why we work so hard to make sure each of you has monthly opportunities to practice using your avi gear.

This is also why we work so hard to promote getting avi education such as the classes offered through the Sierra Avalanche Center

This is why we encourage you to check the forecast, make a plan, know your group, and stick to the plan...every time you ride.

And, this is why we can't offer club rides.

We are not guides. We DO offer club meetups where we can network in the parking lot, have warm beverages, and food. The food this Saturday will be at Steve's place around 1pm, beverages at 9am in the parking lot. See our previous post with more details.

After the parking lot meetup, you are free to ride at your own risk (or not ride at all). Choose your group wisely. Stick to your plan. Make sure you have all the gear and check the forecast if you choose to ride.

Remember, your number one goal is to return safely to your family and friends so you can ride another day.

BRING ON THE SNOW ❄️ ❄️❄️ Club meet up Saturday Feb 21st should be awesome!

We're doing our annual BBQ Steve Morrow's place. Everyone is welcome. See flyer for the details. The new snow forecasted has me hoping the day will filled with jumps, stucks and good fun. Steve is a long time snowmobiler, advocate for access, club supporter and we greatly appreciate the invitation to his home. We ask everyone thanks him and Mary, respect their property, the neighbors land and joins us.

We will post more details with specific directions and maps in the coming weeks. Stay tuned, get stoked for snow, check you gear out after the off weeks and enjoy!

Hope Valley January club meet up pictures are live! is making us all look like the featured athletes!

We are working on the back end to get a landing page on our website and hope to have a central location for all future content drops. For now, link in bio where you can download for FREE or direct order prints, posters or whateverfrom smugmug.

This is only the start, I'm stoked to see where the media initiative goes! Would love to tag everyone but that's challenging.

January Meet up time already?? 🤯 We're excited to invite everyone down to Hope Valley on Carson Pass off of Hwy 89. A refresh on the snow would have been great but better than December!

This is a California Sno-Park and requires a parking permit be displayed or you will be ticketed. Come enjoy burritos, meet new people and enjoy the club. After the meet up, members will head out to enjoy the snow, you are welcome to join the club.

Please have a working radio and proper avalanche safety gear to travel in the backcountry, there is avalanche terrain in this area.

See ya Saturday ☀️❄️😎

Good morning sledders. The Truckee Donner Land Trust has graciously paved the Johnson Canyon (DLI) parking lot for all user groups and created spaces specifically for sledders so we can access our riding areas through their property.

They have asked us to share this map to help users know where and how to park. Please show your gratitude for them allowing us to park on their property by following these guidelines.

Be safe and have fun!

Goals build your season! 💪❄️ Let us know what you want out of our 3rd Saturday of the month meet ups.... besides burritos. Phil has those dialed!

The trailhead is where our club meets, after that, it's choose your own adventure, but our members go ride together! Some members can pull a ski and some can help get your skills to the next level. Join us at the next one!

Thanks for capturing us all season to document everyone's progress, laughter and inevitable stuck! Only Lake Tahoe Snowmobilers do it this way!
