Hi, everyone! I’m excited to share a bit about my journey and why I’m running to represent you. Like so many of you, my path has been shaped by hard work, community, and the belief that when we come together, we can achieve incredible things.
I moved to Oklahoma at the age of three and have proudly called it home ever since. After graduating from Tahlequah High School, I worked tirelessly while pursuing a degree at Northeastern State University, balancing my studies with a job as a pharmacy technician at Reasor’s Pharmacy. Later, with the support of an Indian Health Service (IHS) Scholarship, I earned a second bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory sciences from UAMS. This opportunity allowed me to dedicate myself to serving the Native community through my work at W.W. Hastings Indian Hospital—a role that solidified my belief in the power of service and the importance of giving back.
Growing up in Oklahoma taught me the value of lifting others up and creating opportunities for all. These values have shaped both my career and my volunteer work, inspiring me to dedicate my life to improving the lives of those around me.
For the past several years, I’ve had the honor of serving as the first Senior Director for Laboratory Sciences for the Cherokee Nation healthcare system. In this role, I worked alongside leadership to address the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring our community had access to critical care and resources. Today, as a Genomics Consultant with Oracle Health and a doctoral recipient in Healthcare Administration from OSU, I continue to advocate for innovative solutions that improve lives and strengthen healthcare systems.
My commitment to service extends beyond my career. For over a decade, I’ve been proud to roll up my sleeves for causes that matter. As a member of the Beta Sigma Phi service sorority, I organized projects supporting children, cancer patients, and shelters. Through Leadership Tahlequah (Class XIX), we raised nearly $75,000 to build an all-inclusive playground, ensuring every child in our community could play and thrive. And for six years, I performed in a theatrical production to raise funds for our local women’s shelter.
I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative impact the Cherokee Nation can have on its citizens’ lives. I’m committed to ensuring every Cherokee citizen has access to essential resources—from housing and healthcare to education—all while fiercely protecting tribal sovereignty.
I’m running for office because I believe government should work for the people it serves. My experiences as a healthcare leader, problem-solver, and advocate have prepared me to bring practical, thoughtful solutions to the table. We need leaders who listen, who fight for equitable opportunities, and who ensure no one is left behind.
Together, we can invest in our schools, expand access to healthcare, and create thriving, inclusive neighborhoods where every family has the chance to succeed. This campaign isn’t about me—it’s about us. It’s about building a brighter future for our families, our neighbors, and the generations to come.
Let’s work together to build the future we all deserve!
