Miss Northeast Oklahoma for America Strong making the world a better place by being the ocean and carrying the ripples my little boy left in me to carry from here to across the world. I have had women reach out to me from Nigeria sharing photos of their babies they have lost so I know what I'm doing is making a difference. This foundation it's just another way I get to use my son's life to help others as he would've wanted me to do.

When dealing with a child with pediatric epilepsy, do not try to restrain them during a seizure, put anything in their mouth, or leave them unsupervised in potentially dangerous situations like near water; instead, focus on keeping them safe by moving them to a soft surface, removing hazards, and monitoring the seizure until it passes while contacting their healthcare provider if necessary. Do not lay a child on their back if they are seizing, they can dry drown on their drool that happens during a seizure. Roll them on their side, stomach or lay them face down across your lap and rub their back while talking calmly to them.
