Wreaths For Fallen Hero's We are a non-profit volunteer group raising funds for the purchase of artificial wreaths for our fallen hero's headstones at FT Gibson National Cemetery .

Let me start at the beginning : our V.C Bonnie Harper is a Gold Star Mother and for those of you who don't know what that is . It is a mother that has lost a son or daughter on active duty during war time. She lost her son SSG William "BJ" Beardsley on February 26, 2007 in Iraq. Since BJ's death we have been to many ceremonies in honor of B.J. and other fallen heroes. She heard they were asking fo

r volunteers at FT Gibson National Cemetery for the Wreath laying ceremony on December 12,2014. She called her family to ask if they would like to go and volunteer to lay wreaths. We were excited because we have seen pictures of Arlington National Cemetery, where B.J.s head stone is and how beautiful it looked "that every headstone had a wreath on it", There were about 100 volunteers at FT Gibson National Cemetery to lay wreaths and as a mother it became very sad. You see there were only 374 wreaths for over 17,000 plus graves. That has brought our family to this mission for all 17,000 plus graves to have a wreath laid on these fallen heroes head stones. As a free nation we pledged never to forget our fallen heroes, to keep our pledge of never forgetting their sacrifices by laying a wreath on every head stone for this year and many to come.
