Well guys, school has been in session for a few weeks now, football season has started, and summer is officially over. So we wanted to post a few of our highlights from hanging out with YL these last few months!
We know that some of you had an AMAZING summer, and made memories you'll keep for a lifetime. We also know that some of you faced some really hard things this summer. Our church community and YL family experienced deep loss over the last few months.
The bible says to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep.
Our aim at YL is to support our students and walk alongside you all as you navigate life. Which means we celebrate your wins, and are here for you in your struggles.
Whatever season you find yourself in right now, whatever trials you might be facing, or whatever exciting new experiences await you as this school year begins, we want to encourage you to set your eyes on Jesus.
Let Him be the foundation that you center your life upon. And He will guide you in all things. He will be by your side as you navigate both the good and the beautiful things in life, and the hardships and the struggles.
As everyone settles into new routines, new classes, and maybe even new schools, our prayer at YL for our students is this:
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make His face shine upon you
and be gracious to you.
May the Lord turn His face toward you
and give you peace.
And may He recieve the glory from our lives and our conduct as His followers.
We can't wait to see what God has in store this year.
