Lincoln County Volunteer Fire responded to a structure fire at 1:13 a.m. this morning (Sunday, Aug. 31) on Pepper Road in Taft, according to Fire Chief Doug Campbell.
Campbell said dispatch information advised the building was "fully involved." On arrival, fire units did find a fully involved structure fire that was already collapsing, Campbell said.
"A passerby is who called the fire in,'" Campbell said. "No one was injured and it is believed no one was living in the house at the time."
