✨ WILD&FREE WEEKLY UPDATE! ✨

Wild&Free was absolutely MAGICAL this week! 💛 We welcomed some brand-new faces while getting to see plenty of familiar ones, too—and our crew brought ALL the fun! 🎉

📖 Devotional Time:
We watched Chris Pratt’s 9 Rules for Life and then challenged the kids to create 9 rules of their own. We talked about how the rules and values we choose to live by can shape our lives and, most importantly, help lead us closer to Christ. ✝️❤️

💬 Classes:

🎨 Crafts with Mrs. Sierra:
The kids got creative making adorable friendship bracelets and necklaces—because apparently we needed even MORE friendship around here! 🥰📿

🧠 Trivia Frenzy:
Things got seriously competitive during Alister’s indoor class, alongside his co-lead, Miss Sierra! 🤓🔥

⚾ Outside with Mr. David:
The kids took the fun outdoors for some good old-fashioned wiffle ball! ☀️⚾

And behind every great Wild&Free day is a group of adults who show up, jump in, encourage kids, play games, lead activities, clean up messes, and love these kids so well. To our amazing adult volunteers: THANK YOU! We truly couldn’t do this without you. Your time, energy, patience, and willingness to serve make Wild&Free what it is. ❤️

What a great week at Wild&Free! 💙

We’re starting to find our rhythm again as we gear up for the new school year, and it was so much fun having our interest-led classes back in full swing!

During Circle Time, we talked about pursuing what matters most. Following Jesus isn’t just believing in Him—it’s choosing to pursue Him above everything else. Our key verse was Romans 12:1, reminding us to offer our lives to God as an act of worship.

Classes:
☀️ Beautiful beaded sun catchers were made in Mrs. Sierra’s Summer Crafts class.
🤫 A historic Silent Ball showdown hosted by Alister! Mrs. Megan claimed the title of two-time Silent Ball Champion…although one victory came after Miss Sierra accidentally broke the silence. 😂 Hey, a win is a win, and defeating Miss Sierra even once is a feat worthy of the history books!
🤼 Indoor wrestling and an energetic game of Four Corners, refereed and coordinated by Mr. David, kept everyone laughing and moving.

We are incredibly thankful for our amazing volunteers who faithfully give their time each week to build Christ-centered relationships with our students. Your love, consistency, and servant hearts make a lasting impact.

What a wonderful week at Wild&Free! ☀️💦

We had an absolute blast spending the day at the Natatorium! From swimming and laughter to making memories together, it was a day filled with joy, friendship, and so much fun. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to enjoy such a special outing with our students.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing adult leaders who gave their time, energy, and servant hearts to make this day possible. Your willingness to invest in the lives of these kids never goes unnoticed, and we are so thankful for each of you!

It is primarily a place for parent communication, for families to see what their kids are doing throughout the week, and for our sponsors to see the impact of their giving. It is not a general public events page. Any events shared are specifically Wild&Free events for our Wild&Free families and community unless otherwise stated.

🌊☀️ Wild&Free Swim Day! ☀️🌊

We’re excited to announce that this Wednesday, July 29th, Wild&Free will be meeting at the Plunge/Natatorium for a fun swim day! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

📍 821 4th Street
⏰ Swimming: 2:00–4:30 PM

Wild&Free will be covering the cost of admission for our students who arrive by 2:00 PM. Our staff will arrive about 10 minutes early to meet the students and get everyone lined up so we can pay for the group together at 2:00.

If your child arrives after 2:00 PM, they are still welcome to join us and have fun, but unfortunately, we will not be able to cover their admission cost.

We’ll be providing snacks and drinks for the kids! 🍎🥤 Please make sure your child brings:
🏖️ A towel
🧴 Sunscreen, if needed

Pick-up will be at the pool at 4:30 PM.

💦🎨🧱 Another amazing week at Wild&Free! 🧱🎨💦

We had our last day of water play before our big pool day next week! The kids had a blast slip-and-sliding, hanging out in the kiddie pool, and squirting each other with water guns. 💧☀️

Inside, we had a little bit of everything happening—painting ceramics, playing games, building with Legos, and creating poster art! There was creativity, laughter, teamwork, and plenty of fun all afternoon. 🎨🖌️🎲🧱

During circle time, our devotion focused on making time for God—the most important relationship in our lives. We talked about what it looks like to intentionally seek the Lord in our everyday lives.

📖 “Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.” — 1 Chronicles 16:11

Afterward, we broke into small groups to talk more about what seeking God looks like in real life and how we can make time for Him in the middle of our busy lives. ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing adult leaders! 🙌 You do so much behind the scenes to keep everything moving, organized, safe, and running efficiently. You truly help make this ship run smoothly, and we are forever grateful for each and every one of you! 🚢❤️
