YWCA Pierce County is dedicated to transforming lives through safety, healing, and empowerment.

As an inclusive organization, YWCA Pierce County aids survivors of domestic violence and their children throughout the healing process. The YWCA serves 5,000 adults and children annually, who are seeking help due to domestic violence. Our current services can be divided into four main categories: Therapeutic Services, Support Shelter and Services, Legal Services, and Community Programs. Our regular office hours are: Monday to Thursday 9:00am—5:00pm and Friday 9:00am—4:00pm. If you need immediate help with a domestic violence related situation, please contact our 24/7 hotline at 253-383-2593. If you require other assistance, please call our front desk at 253-272-4181.

Domestic violence affects all parts of society and the work we do to prevent violence cannot be done alone. It’s an honor to stand alongside partnering organizations (TAG) Crystal Judson Family Justice Center, Our Sisters' House, Mi Centro - Tacoma, WA, Rebuilding Hope Sexual Assault Center, Puyallup Tribe of Indians, Tacomaprobono Community Lawyers, Oasis Youth Center, KWA who all do incredible work for survivors and the greater community.
