The few things I had didn’t last long. The smile on the kids face that found the Seahawks ball was great. Just drop off donations in the baskets and a rack for the bikes. We have some bikes about to be ready to go out also. Keep an eye out.

As the weathers supposed to be nice the next few days I put out a few things for the kiddos I found at mission thrift this past weekend. Great thrift shop to check out in Tacoma. Have a great day and go play outside.

What we're in need of:

Sports balls (probably the most sought after item)

Indoor/outdoor sporting equipment

Bike locks

Bike helmets

Any good used sporting equipment.

We have had lots of bike donations and we're getting some of them ready for kids. But would like some locks to give the bigger kids for their bikes.

Also if you know a kid in need of a bike please message me info and we will do our best to get them one. Bikes out at the library are part display. I'm putting together quite a few bikes so we can have kids come pick them out.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting a Cycleologist named Mel, who has a charity called Holy Spokes. He heard about our story on Q13 and offered us this generous donation. It's time to get to work and get these things ready for new homes. If you know someone needing a bike, let me know and we can see if we can get them taken care of.

Some big stuff today for the library... Going to pick up a large donation of bikes. Yay! Looks like we have some coming in for those older kids also. Then I'll be on the radio between 12-3 today on 97.3 kiro to talk about the library and what we do. We've also gotten some Amazon wish list donations this last week. Thank you donors! One thing we could still use is helmets, as I like to give a helmet with each bike. If you're able to help, the kids will appreciate it. One last thing... if your child is in need of a bicycle feel free to stop by and check the library or message me and I'll see what we can do. Have a great day and remember to be kind to someone today--it will make both your days better.

DONATIONS :

You can drop off donations at the sports library anytime. (5412 S G St Tacoma, WA 99408) I check regularly for equipment in need of repair. I will be making a specific side for donations this weekend. So look for signs to show a specific drop location.

Remember we love all kinds of equipment. From gear, balls, rackets, bats etc.

Not able to bring items in but still want to donate. Check out our Amazon wish list with equipment and parts to renew equipment for the kids.
