Ever wanted to fly, stunt, dance, or just make new friends who think yelling enthusiastically is a perfectly normal hobby?
Now’s your chance!

Cheer Tacoma’s tryouts are coming up. Here are the requirements:
Minimum Age 18+
No cheer experience required
Positive attitudes required
Commitment to fun, community, and making a difference

Join our nonprofit cheer family and help us raise awareness and support for our community, while having an absolute blast.

Pride Month is officially here, and that means we're about to kick into overdrive bringing charitable cheerleading to Pride festivals across South Puget Sound!

We have been fluffing our bows, stocking the glitter and working really hard to get our stunts flying high for our upcoming Pride Tour.

So mark your calendars and get ready to cheer loud, shine bright, and spread Pride all summer long.

We will be cheering for a cause (AKA raising fund for ), performing with pride and raising money one dollar at a time.

Save the dates, you won’t want to miss our performance. We will be posting more details as we get closer to the events.

As we gather with family and friends, we encourage everyone to take a minute and pause to reflect on the courage, dedication, and selflessness of those who gave everything for the freedoms we enjoy today.

Our first event of Pride season is almost here! We’ll be kicking it off with a day of cheer, fundraising, and performance at Thurston County Pride!

UPDATE: False Alarm!
While Washington may be known for its enthusiastically persistent rain, we’d like to clarify that yesterday’s announcement was, in fact, an April Fools’ joke.

Although we have the utmost respect for the art of sideline cheer, we are happy to report that stunting, tossing, and all things high-flying are NOT going anywhere.

Our flyers are back in the air, our grips are (mostly) reliable, and our commitment to defying both gravity and the PNW weather remains strong.

Thank you for playing along with us, and remember… a little rain has never stopped Cheer Tacoma. We will see you at the Daffodil parade on Saturday April 4, 2026.

🚨 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
Due to inclement (aka aggressively consistent) Washington rain, Cheer Tacoma will no longer be conducting our signature high-flying stunts, tosses, or any activity that requires dry hands… or visibility.
Effective immediately, we will be transitioning to Sideline Cheer Only.

This includes, but not limited to: Aggressive clapping, Excessive yelling, Intense eye contact with the crowd, Standing firmly on the ground where it is SAFE, etc.

Our flyers have been grounded. Our grips are questionable. Our spirits? Still unreasonably high.

Thank you for your understanding as we navigate these truly challenging weather conditions in the South Sound.
Just know… we would flip if we could.

We’re partnering with Uneasy Events & Sig Brewing Company for an afternoon of Trivia in support of charitable cheerleading! Money raised from this event will be split between covering our operational costs and our donation bucket for our 2026 beneficiary Stonewall Youth
