Cienfuegos and Boca del Rio Sister Cities and SABD are excited to announce their 5th Annual Día de los Mu***os Festival on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 11-6 PM at 6th Avenue and Anderson Streets through 8th Ave. We are growing Tacoma! 🌹

Attendees will enjoy a procession at 12:15 pm, continuous entertainment, delicious food, face painting, arts and crafts and community vendors as well as alebrije artists.

✨Highlights include:

🎶Featured musicians from Michoacan.

🦋Education on creating butterfly gardens.

🎨A children’s area will be in the Spire parking lot featuring arts and crafts and face painting.

🎪Over 70 vendor booths along with a Food Court.

🌼Our exciting procession is at 12:15 pm and our Honoring Ancestors ceremony will take place at 4 PM.

During September & October, we will offer traditional Día de Mu***os crafts classes.
These will be held on Thursday evenings in the 6th Avenue Business District preceding the festival.

✨Our dynamic team runs various aspects of the festival and includes:

Frances and Mario Lorenz, Carlos Ortiz of Zeta Maya Entertainment, Roberto Sanchez, Martha Cabello, Helen Milus, Tom Ebenhoh, Stein Hansen, Odessa Christiana, and many others.
