Raising Girls empowers young girls to recognize their own potential by providing hygiene products.

An awesome morning of productive work with a lot of laughter and good energy sprinkled in Raising Girls! They came from 7 different cities to participate in a combined Leaders in Women's Health, and Community Health Care volunteer activity. They relocated 350 care bags, packed 50 more, folded 500 wash cloths, wrote 150 inspirational cards, restocked shelves, refilled bins, & broke down recycling. They also brought donations of deodorant and pads. We are grateful for their support. Many attended our luncheon in April and are now planning to participate in our upcoming 5th Annual 5K Fun Run. All in for our young people!

Raising Girls is delighted and grateful to be a recipient of a Spring Community Grant Award from Rotary Club of Tacoma #8! We appreciate this awesome support. Special thanks to the grants committee members who interviewed us and made recommendations. We could not do this work without our community partners like Rotary #8. Congratulations to the other 16 grant recipients as well!

Raising Girls was delighted to be nominated and subsequently awarded a generous 2026–2027 Our Village Grant from the Jack and Jill of America Foundation, Inc.! Many thanks to Lindsey Grays with the local chapter Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Tacoma Chapter for nominating us! Jack and Jill of America Foundation’s Our Village Grant will fund 400 additional hygiene care bags for students across Pierce County. We are honored to be recognized for our work in our community and to receive these funds to support young people who need hygiene & sanitary supplies for their daily care.

What a day at Raising Girls today! Over 35 volunteers came to help us. They packed 150, wrote 250 inspirational cards, restocked shelves, and refilled bins. Many thanks to Dominique for hosting again and making everyone feel welcome. We are truly community strong!

The work doesn't stop in the summer! Our hygiene bags went out to the Sumner-Bonney Lake Family Resource Center in preparation for the new school year.

We had an awesome and very productive day at Raising Girls! Every year, the first Friday in June is Windermere Community Service Day where all offices are closed, and the Windermere team goes out into their communities to participate in service projects.

Windermere Central Sound came once again to help us, and we had a special project waiting! Our goal was to reorganize the big space for a more efficient flow when we host packing parties. Well, mission accomplished! It was a lot of work but our joyful volunteers were up to the task!

We moved thousands of hygiene products and hundreds of bags to create a more efficient flow. Many thanks to the entire team, the positive energy was evident in all who came out. Thank you! 🩷🧡

We had a wonderful time at Hops n Drops Gig Harbor where they hosted a fundraiser for Raising Girls! Their staff was amazing and took very good care of us. The food was delicious with a variety menu to please all palates. Go give them a try! Thanks to everyone who came out to this event. We are grateful to have such awesome support.
