The House of Matthew Permanent & Supportive Housing Program is your community nonprofit organization that works for you, making our community stronger. We exist to end homelessness, to connect an

d unite the needs- with the resources in our community.In every effort to assist in homeless prevention, The House of Matthew provides training, housing,independence and support(including advocacy and advisory) to individuals that are low-income, at-risk of homelessness, or already homeless. The House of Matthew also assists single men facing hardships and challenges but committed to change towards building a greater foundation for a more positive, healthy quality of life; By willingly completing a structured comprehensive homeless prevention and life skills program.

*ASL Interpretation Provided* There's still time to register for our Helping Homeless Students: McKinney-Vento 101 training next Weds, Aug 19: bit.ly/McKV26. This training will go over who is considered homeless under the McKinney-Vento Assistance Act and what assistance is guaranteed to K-12 students experiencing homelessness in public schools. There will also be a virtual resource fair. We look forward to seeing you there!

You are warmly invited to join House of Matthew for our 12th Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner, hosted at Urban Grace Church. This celebration is open to the entire community—individuals, families, seniors, youth, and anyone who could use a welcoming place to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings.

What to Expect

• A full Thanksgiving dinner prepared with care and love
• A safe, welcoming space for neighbors from all walks of life
• Connection, conversation, and community
• Volunteers, partners, and guests sharing a meal side by side

Why This Dinner Matters

Many of our guests are navigating barriers such as housing instability, food insecurity, re‑entry challenges, unemployment, or limited family support. This dinner offers a moment of dignity, joy, and belonging—something everyone deserves during the holiday season.
