According to the 2024 Tacoma Community Survey-

76% of respondents say their trust in Tacoma's municipal government is fair or poor.

One big factor of this distrust appears to be a perceived lack of communication from our city government, including the level of public involvement in local decision-making.

One sure way to improve trust and communication would be a change to a more responsive and transparent mayor-council form of government.
