💗 Big shoutout to Raising Girls for keeping our residents stocked with period products — one less thing to stress about while they're focused on education, jobs, and rebuilding their lives during reentry. 🙌

They're hosting their 5K Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, Sept 19th at Chambers Creek Regional Park, and guess what — some of our New Connections staff are lacing up to run (or walk fast) in it! 🏃‍♀️🩷🧡

Come cheer us on, walk with us, or just donate to a great cause supporting women and girls in our community.

A safe place to sleep.
Someone in your corner.
A community that believes in you.
That's what New Connections provides for women rebuilding their lives after incarceration.
This Give Big — be that community. 💙

The odds are stacked against women leaving incarceration.
No housing → no employment → no stability → back to crisis.
It doesn't have to be that way.
New Connections interrupts that cycle — with safe housing at Irma's Place and Annie's Cottage, personalized resource navigation, and advocacy that removes the barriers no one should face alone.
This Give Big, stand with women who are working hard to stand on their own.

She walked out with nothing but determination. Just a fierce will to start over and a dream. New Connections was there — with a safe bed, a steady hand, and a community that believed in her before she fully believed in herself. For more than 20 years, we've been meeting women at one of the hardest moments of their lives. This Give Big, you can be part of what happens next. Every gift — no matter the size — funds the furnishings and supplies, the resource connections, the moment that changes everything.

This Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating the strength, resilience, and leadership of the women in our community 💜

Pictured here: our staff and residents participating in a Reentry Simulation at Tacoma Community College—an opportunity to build empathy, understanding, and real-world problem-solving skills as women navigate the challenges of reentry together.

So far in 2026, our residents are already making history:
✨ Securing employment
✨ Obtaining driver’s licenses
✨ Enrolling in college classes this Spring
✨ Growing as leaders in our community

Every step forward is powerful. Every milestone matters. We are proud to walk alongside these incredible women as they continue to thrive, heal, and create new paths forward.
