In 2021 On The Road with PartnerCafe hosted it's first Community Resource Fair at United Methodist Church in Tacoma. With the help of our Community Partners, we were able to bring covid testing, food, and free bus passes to people attending the fair.

Ever since that day, we've been stiving to make more connections, identify specific areas of need, and find ways to bring direct services through our networks to communities near and far!

The areas of need may have shifted from pandemic times, but the issues some of our neighbors face are still there. Food insecurity, housing, employment, are some of our top help requests so far in 2026.

A local barbershop is never just a place to get a haircut; it’s a town square, a classroom, and a safe haven all in one. For thirty-five years, Mr. Henderson has kept his doors open on 5th Street, listening to the heartbeats of neighbors, celebrating wins, and mentoring young men who walked through his door. Generations have sat in his vintage leather chairs, leaving not just looking sharper, but carrying a little more wisdom.
