Our very own Skipper of Charles N. Curtis Ship 110 was selected and is being recognized by Serve Washington! This doesn't scratch the surface of Tom Rogers' 50+ years of volunteering and co-founding the Tacoma Youth Marine Center.

Tom facilitated 182 activities and over 108 days underway on the Tacoma SSS #110 Sea Scouts - Charles N. Curtis He has registered 100 volunteers, and provided programming for 400+ youth. With Tacoma Public Schools Tom hosted weekly marine science cruises during which SAMI high school students conduct their marine science studies. Tom helped found and serves as Board President for the Youth Marine Foundation that operates the Tacoma Youth Marine Center Congratulations Tom on being the 2020 Governor’s Volunteer Service Award Education recipient.
