Our instructors will guide you step‑by‑step, and you’ll get the chance to make each dish yourself.

Guma'Imahe Chamorro Dance Workshop - 9/25/26

We had such a beautiful afternoon at our Hento (Mwarmwar) Workshop on Saturday! 🌿

It was a fun afternoon of learning, making hento's, and talking story.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and took the time to learn more about this Chamorro tradition. There were lots of questions, lots of helping each other, and definitely a lot of beautiful hento being made. 💚

Ginen i kurason-måmi (From our hearts)… Si Yu’os Ma’åse’.

This past weekend, Guma’ Imahe had the honor of sharing another special recital with our community, and we are still feeling the love and gratitude that filled the room.

To everyone who came out to support our Guma’, Si Yu’os Ma’åse. Si Yu’os Ma’åse for taking the time out of your busy lives to be there, to cheer, to clap, to smile, and to celebrate these beautiful moments with us. Your presence meant more than you may ever know.

You have supported us not just with words, but with your time, presence, encouragement, and actions at our presentations and events. You are the ones who remind our dancers that their hard work is seen, valued, and worth celebrating.

Every seat that was filled, every applause that was made, every encouraging word said, and every familiar face seen in the audience means something. And even when a seat was empty, you continued to show up for culture we love.

Because at the end of the day, support is not something we simply say — it is something we show. You are not simply an audience. You are part of our Guma’ Imahe familia.

Thank you for believing in our dancers, drummers, and musicians. Thank you for supporting our mission. Thank you for helping us keep our culture and traditions alive.

To those who continue to stand beside us, we see you, we appreciate you, and we will never take you for granted.

The countdown is on! Join us for Guma’ Imahe’s Annual Showcase as our dancers, drummers, and musicians come together to share the beauty, strength, and spirit of our culture.

Tickets are $25 plus tax and may be purchased at the door. A few wonderful vendors will also be available for your shopping needs.

Bring your family and friends, enjoy an evening of culture and community, and show your support for the dedicated members of Guma’ Imahe. We look forward to celebrating with you!
