Herb Garden meeting tonight July 18th 6:00 PM. Volunteers needed, please attend if you can. Meeting is at the garden kiosk in the herb garden.
Last summer Ellen K. wrote a grant for a communal herb garden space to be located on our garden land. Donna T., a Master Gardener who is also one of our community gardeners is our mentor on the project. Thanks to these dedicated women the Proctor Community Garden has been awarded funding to build our communal HERB garden! The garden was designed to focus the growth of perennial herbs that grow big and plentiful while freeing up much loved garden space in individual plots. Annuals and specialty herbs may also be grown and labeled with learning opportunities surrounding this special garden. Thank you Ellen & Donna!
