Raising Hope Tacoma - Guide Dogs for the Blind We are a small group of volunteer puppy raisers from the Tacoma area who raise, train, and socialize quality puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, Inc.

We are under new leadership as of June 2011. Guide Dogs for the Blind is a nonprofit, charitable organization with a mission to provide Guide Dogs and training in their use to visually impaired people throughout the United States and Canada. Our dogs and services are free to those we serve, thanks to the generosity of donors and support of volunteers. We are devoted to promoting the human/animal b

We're happy to announce that Fizz is in the first class of 2017! She will graduate on the 14th. Way to go Fizz! We're so proud of the dog you've grown into.

Update on our puppies!

Yoakam has made it into class. Will graduate Nov 5th. Finally after 9 months we will get to find out where this boy will be working!

Fizz is in phase 8 and waiting for her final evaluation. Loves her guide work but will need an experienced handler to be her forever person. Good luck Fizz! We're cheering for you!

Simona was pushed to December recall. No room at the Inn in November for her.

Realm will be spayed on Wednesday due to traits in her littermates.
