Crime Stoppers is a non-profit 501©3 organization dedicated to assisting law enforcement in solving

Crime Stoppers began in 1976 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, when members of the community and media began an effort to provide crime solving assistance to law enforcement by offering a cash reward to anonymous persons who called a hotline and provided information that led an arrest. The Albuquerque program became a model for programs throughout the United States, and was the basis for the 1984 creati

on of Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers. Since then, Crime Stoppers has grown into an internationally successful law enforcement tool, with over 1100 programs throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, South Africa, Bahamas, British West Indies, Micronesia, and other nations. The international program boasts a 95% conviction rate on cases solved by tips, over a million crimes solved worldwide, and over 5 billion dollars recovered in stolen property and narcotics. Tacoma Police detectives need your help to locate Avery Lucas McDaniel.

On March 31, 2026, at 9:38pm, officers were dispatched to the report of a shooting at the Village at Sota Apartments in South Tacoma. The victim of the shooting was a two-year old male that suffered a non-life -threatening gunshot wound to the chest. Lucas McDaniel is wanted for Assault in the 1st degree and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the 2nd degree and is described as a mixed-race male, 5'10", 25 years-old and 250lbs.

***UPDATE***7/30/2026***SUSPECT HAS BEEN ARRESTED*** We appreciate all the tips that were sent in on the murder of Braylon Diaz. The information collected assisted law enforcement with the apprehension of the suspects involved.

Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives need your help to locate the suspect(s) responsible for the death of Braylon Diaz.

On Sunday, May 24, 2026, at approximately 7:13pm, Diaz and his girlfriend were walking in the area of 102nd St. S. and Sheridan Ave. S. in Parkland when they were approached by a vehicle where the occupant(s) demanded Diaz’s jewelry. After complying, the suspect(s) in the vehicle then shot Diaz and fled the scene. Diaz died at the scene.

Tacoma Police detectives need your help to identify the suspect(s) responsible for the murder of a 16-year-old male.
On January 15, 2023, at 5:15pm, SS911 received a report of a vehicle that has crashed into a yard in the 4300 block of N. Pearl St. Tacoma Police officers responded and located a white 2001 BMW 325i with a driver as the sole occupant. Investigation revealed that the driver was a 16-year-old male who sustained a gunshot wound to the head and later died from his injuries.
Investigators believe that the shooting suspect was in a separate vehicle and may have been racing or engaging in road rage with the white BMW northbound on Pearl St. between N. 26th St. and N. 43rd St. The suspect vehicle was described as a dark-colored, possibly gray, four door sedan with both white and amber colored headlights, which may have been modified from stock equipment.
There were several other vehicles observed in the area of N. 43rd St. and Pearl St. at the time of the shooting and crash that have not been identified or contacted. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this homicide or potential witnesses to come forward and contact Tacoma Pierce County Crime Stoppers.

Tacoma Police detectives need your help to identify and locate the suspect(s) responsible for murder.
On March 29, 2026, at approximately 12:35am, Tacoma Police Officers responded to the 100 block of East 91st Street for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located two females with gunshot wounds. Officers immediately began lifesaving measures until Tacoma Fire arrived. One victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The second, Dorys Mahaylia Easley, died at the scene. Additional sources contributed $3,000 to the reward.

Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives need your help to identify the suspect(s) responsible for the death of Braylon Diaz.

On Sunday, May 24, 2026, at approximately 7:13pm, Diaz and his girlfriend were walking in the area of 102nd St. S. and Sheridan Ave. S. in Parkland when they were approached by a vehicle where the occupant(s) demanded Diaz’s jewelry. After complying, the suspect(s) in the vehicle then shot Diaz and fled the scene. Diaz died at the scene.

Detectives are looking for any information on the vehicle and its occupants. The vehicle, pictured above, is a later model red sedan with dark tinted windows and silver rims, likely a 2020 Toyota Corolla.

Tacoma Police detectives need your help to identify the suspects responsible for indecent liberties.

On Thursday, May 7, 2026, at approximately 8pm, near 57th or 58th St. NE & Brown’s Pt. Blvd. the pictured suspect approached the female victim from behind, stuck his head underneath the back of her skirt touching her buttocks with his head and hand. The suspect blurted out “sorry” several times and then ran off.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic Male, mid to late 20's and was wearing a white t-shirt underneath a black and gray jacket, green backpack, and white shoes.
