Crime Stoppers began in 1976 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, when members of the community and media began an effort to provide crime solving assistance to law enforcement by offering a cash reward to anonymous persons who called a hotline and provided information that led an arrest. The Albuquerque program became a model for programs throughout the United States, and was the basis for the 1984 creati

on of Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers. Since then, Crime Stoppers has grown into an internationally successful law enforcement tool, with over 1100 programs throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, South Africa, Bahamas, British West Indies, Micronesia, and other nations. The international program boasts a 95% conviction rate on cases solved by tips, over a million crimes solved worldwide, and over 5 billion dollars recovered in stolen property and narcotics. Tacoma Police detectives need your help to identify and locate the suspect(s) responsible for murder.

On March 29, 2026 at approximately 12:35am, Tacoma Police Officers responded to the 100 block of East 91st Street for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located two females with gunshot wounds. Officers immediately began lifesaving measures until Tacoma Fire arrived. One victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The second, Dorys Mahaylia Easley, died at the scene.

Five Guys (Burgers) has graciously offered to hold a fundraising event for the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit. Beginning this Friday, April 10th and running through the weekend, Five Guys will donate 20% of all proceeds from any of their Pierce County locations to the K9 Unit. You just need to show the flier or identify yourself as participating in the Pierce County K9 fundraiser for your purchase to count.

Want to see the K9's while you visit? K9's and their handlers plan to be at the locations following the schedule below.
4/11- Puyallup at 5pm
4/11- Lakewood at 7pm
4/12- Tacoma at 11am
4/12- University Place at 12:30pm

Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives need your help to identify the suspects responsible for fraud.

On Jan. 23, 2026, the pictured suspects attempted to use a stolen credit card to purchase over $800 in items at JD Sports in the Tacoma Mall. These suspects are believed to be involved in other cases, and we need your assistance to identify them.

The suspects are both Pacific Islander. Suspect 1 is a male in his late 40's or early 50's, medium build. Suspect 2 is a female in her late 30's or early 40's, medium build.

Tacoma Police detectives need your help to identify the suspect responsible for a robbery. On Feb. 27, 2026, at approximately 10:47am the pictured suspect, along with an accomplice, committed a home invasion robbery in the 7200 block of East G Street. The suspects entered the home through an unlocked front door, held the occupants at gunpoint, and stole a small safe from a bedroom. This suspect is described as a male at least 6' tall.

Puyallup Police detectives need your help to identify the suspect responsible for armed robbery.

On Feb. 25, 2026, at 2:14pm, the pictured suspect entered the Puyallup Harborstone Credit Union and demanded money from the bank teller.

The suspect is described as an unknown race male with light brown complexion, approximately 40 years old, around 6'0 and weighing 230 pounds. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a tan hat, dark-colored wig, safety glasses, a face mask, blue flannel shirt with a neon yellow undershirt, brown pants, and grey shoes with white soles.

On Jan. 17th, 2026, the pictured suspect stole various items from the South Pierce Fire & Rescue Station, located on 8th Avenue South in Roy.

The suspect removed 3 hydraulic extraction tools (photos in comments), a Stihl circular saw, a chainsaw, and a smaller Honda 2000i generator.

The white male was of average height and weight, wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, black mask, blue jeans, and dark-colored boots.

Tacoma Police detectives need your help to locate the suspects responsible for Murder.

On Jan. 1, 2026, the pictured suspects, Barkai Ben Isreal Brinson (aka “Kai”) and Aiden Terrel Finley, attended a house party on the East side of Tacoma. As the party let out, the pictured suspects accosted the victim outside the residence. A struggle followed with the victim being shot from close range. The suspects then fled. The victim died at the scene.

Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives need your help to identify the suspect(s) responsible for a burglary.

On Dec. 26, 2025, property owners of forest land/vacant lot located at the 2200 block of Creviston Dr. SW in Lakebay called Pierce County Sheriff’s Office detectives to report multiple stolen items from their property.

Sometime between Nov. 14 and Dec. 26 the suspect(s) drove around the blocked and locked gate at the vacant lot entry and proceeded to steal 2 vehicle hauling trailers, an excavator, a Kubota tractor (recovered) and additional attachments to both tractor and excavator. Suspect(s) also stole many other large and smaller sized tools used for land clearing, including but not limited to: 2 Stihl chainsaws, Rugged Made log splitter, Tajfun logging winch, Renogy solar panels, Stihl FS 130 brush cutter, yellow tool box with chain saw accessories, gray tool box with limited availability saw blades, w**d puller with “BDLM” welded on the side, tote full of freeze dried food, tote full of emergency cold weather clothing.

***UPDATE*** VEHICLE AND DRIVER HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED***

Tacoma Police detectives need your help to identify the suspect responsible for a fatal hit and run collision.

On Friday December 19 at approximately 7:23pm, a WSP Trooper was struck by a vehicle in the on-ramp to southbound SR 509 from Port of Tacoma Road while investigating a collision. The trooper was incapacitated from the impact and laid motionless in the right lane of southbound SR 509. Shortly after the initial impact, a dark pick-up truck traveling southbound on SR 509 in the right lane, ran the trooper over. The pick-up truck did not slow or stop but continued on southbound SR 509.

The dark pick-up appeared to be black in color, possibly a Chevrolet Avalanche (4 dr) or a Cadillac Escalade (4 dr) EXT type pick-up with possibly tinted windows, chrome door handles and a chrome running board.

Fircrest Police detectives need your help to identify
the suspects responsible for retail theft.

On Dec. 2, 2025, the pictured suspects stole various merchandise from Curious Bear Toy’s and Gift Shop, located in Fircrest.

Two adult middle eastern females, and two teenage middle eastern
females, entered the store and gathered multiple items hiding them in a stroller and under their skirts. Two of the suspects also grabbed two scooters. The four then left the store without paying.

Two of the suspects may be associated with other retail theft cases in
Olympia and in Gig Harbor.

Tacoma Police detectives need your help to identify the suspect(s) responsible for the murder of Jevon Gipson.

In the early morning hours of January 22, 2023, Jevon Gipson was shot while attempting to get into his vehicle at 29 St. Helens Ave.

Gipson was transported to a nearby hospital but did not survive his injuries.
