Hi Friends of Stan and Joan Cross Park,

This is your last opportunity to give your ideas on a survey of parks to Pierce County Parks and Recreation for a plan that covers 15 to 20 years.

We are asking you keep in mind there are 60 more undeveloped acres in Cross Park at Frederickson that needs to be completed.

Cross Park today consists of a beautiful children's playground and an old historic dairy barn refurbished into a lovely community center on 4420 Military Road E, Tacoma, WA. There is a trail around the parking, community center and playground.

Let's ask to open this 60 acres into recreation for the many people who now live in the Frederickson and surrounding area.

Friends of Stan and Joan Cross help support the development of Cross Park. The organization meets on the 3rd Monday of the month.

Email Joan at [email protected] for more information.

Yours,
Joan Cross

Hello park friends,

Frederickson needs county attention. This is why we are working to get the rest (60 acres) of Cross Park complete. Please see Bethel School District Superintendent’s email below.

Dear Frederickson Business Team members,

Here is a video of the powerpoint presentation, regarding the lack of resources in this part of the county, that I gave at the Mid-County Leadership Team meeting last week. Feel free to share it. Come to our meeting this Wednesday to discuss it more if you wish.
