Grips Organization GRIPS mentors contribute personal time and finances in order to facilitate the safety and success of GRIPS activities.

Girls Reclaiming Individual Purpose in Society (GRIPS) Organization is a faith-based mentorship program that benefits teenage girls in the Tacoma-Pierce County area. GRIPS, an initiative of the Northwest Leadership Foundation (NLF), offers advocacy, mentorship and community relationship-building opportunities, as well as local and long distance travel opportunities to girls, ages 12-19. In addition, GRIPS holds quarterly parent meetings, family activities, and educational seminars that include community resources.
