Your dancer learns that dancing for a camera is a whole different art form than dancing for a room. In On Air: Dance for the Camera (Aug 10-14), our 14-18 yr olds, dive into the craft of it all; blocking, angles, timing a movement to a lens instead of a live audience, and with a real camera and real crew guiding them. They walk away understanding how to actually bring their dance to the screen, plus footage thatās genuinely portfolio-ready š„
Then the story shifts. In Center Stage: Props & Performance (Aug 24-28), our 11-14 year olds discover that a hat can become a whole character, a chair can become a whole world, and a ribbon can tell a story their body alone never could. Theyāll leave with a piece they built from nothing and the confidence to know they can do it again šš»
